SPI NAND Flash Memory Introduction by Alliance Memory

Alliance Memory extended their portfolio of Flash Memory products with a family of SPI NAND Flash parts.

These parts are offered in density grades fom 1G bits through 8G bits with supply voltage options of 1.8 V and 3.3 V. They are based on Single-Level Cell (SLC) NAND Flash technology, offering low-cost and low pin count solution for high-density non-volatile memory storage solutions. The serial electrical interface follows the industry-standard SPI, supporting standard, dual and quad options with clock frequency up to 120 MHz (Vcc 3.3 V) and 100 MHz (Vcc 1.8 V). An ECC Protection is included for each memory block (4 bit in 1Gbit product and 8 bit in 2Gbit through 8Gbit products).

SPI NAND Flash memories  offer more than 60 000 program/erase cycles with over 10 years data retention.

All devices have the Industrial Operating Temperature range  (-40°C to +85°C) and use an 8-pin LGA-8 package (8x6x0.8mm).
