Track 1 - Presented by Keysight

Speaker: Dr. Christoph Zysset (Application Manager) & Alessandro Sanasi (Sales Manager T&M)

Maximizing IoT Device Battery Life - Insight into longer battery run-time and energy efficient designs

IoT devices are often battery or self-powered and have limited energy storage. To optimize battery run-time, it is important to measure, analyze, and optimize battery drain at all phases of your device’s development, which includes both hardware and software. Techniques such as current drain profiling and analysis can help you achieve optimal balance between performance and power consumption. You will learn how you can measure wide dynamic current range seamlessly from sleep to active, identify critical RF/DC events that contribute most to power consumption, detect design weakness, estimate battery life, and a better way to power your devices during test and development.

Track 2 - Presendet by Maxim

Speaker: Willi Pflästerer & FAE

Three times 20 min to get a quick update on current innovations and possibilities when talking about integrated circuits for your next project. The three areas will contain practical demos and use cases.

Wearables:

  • Batterie-Management (Fuel Gauge, Charger with Security and Protection, USB-C)
  • Audio – DSM Demo

Industry:

  • Himalaya Ics und Module - Himalaya DC-DC step-down regulators make use of the latest advancements in switching regulator and process technology to minimize power dissipation, temperature rise, solution size, and total cost-of-ownership.
  • Port Protection | Digitale I/Os  Digital Isolators | Authenticator and embedded Security

Measurement Solutions:

  • Voltage Reference in Ceramic | OpAmp / ADC / DAC | Current sense Amplifier | Temp sensors | Bio Sensors

Track 3 - Presendet by armKEIL

Speaker: Vladimir Marchenko, Product Manager MDK Core and Middleware (linkedin.com/in/vovamarch)

Join this session for a global overview of Arm Keil MDK embedded development tools, followed by a deep-dive in the recently announced Functional Safety RunTime System.

Arm Keil MDK is the most comprehensive software development solution for Arm-based microcontrollers and includes all components that you need to create, build, and debug embedded applications.

Arm FuSa RTS is a set of embedded software components qualified for use in the most safety-critical applications in automotive, medical and industrial systems.

With the FuSa RTS developers receive a robust real-time operating system (RTOS), independent processor abstraction layer and verified C library that are highly optimized for Cortex-M processors by Arm architecture experts.
