The PM-PT series of planar transformers is offered with power ratings up to 250W, designed for use in converters based on forward, full/half bridge and active clamp topologies. Switching frequency is in range from 200 kHz to 700 kHz. Proprietary layout techniques for the circuit board windings result in optimization of transformer impedance and interwinding capacitance effects in the desired operating frequency range. These transformers provide excellent isolation (up to 2250 VDC), have wide operation temperature range (-40 to +125 deg.C), demonstrate excellent efficiency (up to 99%) and provide exceptional heat dissipation comparing to traditional wire-wound transformers.
